As one of the largest food manufacturing projects of Whiba Holding Group, Al Dafniya Complex for Food Industries was established in 2010 with the aim of having the highest storage capacity in North Africa and the capability to produce various basic foodstuffs of excellent quality to the MENA region. This has been apparent in the role the companies operating in the complex continue to play in supporting various national industries including pasta, couscous, rice, flour, tomato paste, sugar, cooking oil, and other basic food products of high quality.

Over the years, the complex has contributed to the qualitative shift in the industrial economy in Libya and helped establish a culture of production that relies on self-sufficiency. This has been enhanced by cutting-edge, creative manufacturing methods and strict quality and inspection requirements which make of Al Dafniya Complex one of the most adaptable and flexible processing and packaging food manufacturers in Libya and the region.

Research and Development
Our Research and Development team formulates components using a variety of the best raw materials, processing methods, and food additives in accordance with the specifications of food quality, flavor, and nutritional value. Driven by the passion for food development and wide scientific and technical experience, our R&D team carries out meticulous quality and safety testing in our state-of-the art labs, and adjusts the formulations according to results. The team continues to conduct studies to scale up the formulations for any needed improvements.
