Whiba Holding Group officially inaugurates the largest factory for pasta, couscous and semolina in North Africa at Al Dafniya Food Industries Complex in the presence of the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government and in the presence of the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, the Minister of Economy and Trade, the Minister of Industry, the Minister of Transportation, and the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Industry. The ceremony was also held in the presence of the President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Chairman of the Economic Development Council, the Mayor of Zliten Municipality, the President of the Zliten Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the President of the Misrata Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in addition to the Chairman of the Joint Libyan-Tunisian Chamber and a group of businessmen and those interested in the field.
The Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation praised the complex, describing it as an industrial castle that embodies the private sector in Libya and its compliance with local and international standards. Together with this, the attendants stressed the need to support the private sector in Libya for its role in raising the national economy and the national local industry and the necessity of its contribution to sustainable social development, training, and support and advancement of young men and women.
